Report inventory count and placement problems. Assist in tracking of misplaced or mislabled merchandise by performing the following duties.
Assist in helping the company achieve acceptable shrinkage goal of -.41% to sales or below
Audit Vendor Cartons, results of audits assist EDI and accounts payable in properly charging back vendor for incorrect product.
Verify cycle counts of bin locations daily.
Correct any cycle count issues daily.
Audit PTL boxes as needed.
Audit RTV cartons as needed.
Report shipment discrepancies that may include large amounts of incorrect ticketing or inventory to the appropriate parties as soon as possible.
Audit New Store Opening Store Hold Area to ensure new store merchandise is shipped after store opening.
Provide and track results from all audits performed.
Report any shrink or safety concerns in the DC to the DC Asset Protection Manager and/or DC Asset Protection Coordinator immediately.
Report any suspicious activity by DC personnel to DC Asset Protection Manager and/or DC Asset Protection Coordinator immediately.
Assist with other Distribution Center Asset Protection functions as needed.
Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures, and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
