  • Overview

    Perform all duties associated with maintaining the smooth flow of product throughout the facility.


    Maintain close communication with Distribution Area Managers and Distribution Center Management to ensure a safe and efficient operation.


    Trained to operate all power equipment, lock out tag out procedures, and safety procedures.


    Have a working knowledge of 3 phase  480, 240, 207, 120 vac and 24vdc electrical systems


    Be familiar with the procedures of  inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair of electric motors and gearboxes


    Have a basic knowledge of  Control panel operation


    Be able to read  and understand electrical drawings, to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic issues within the controls systems


    Have a working knowledge of  Pneumatic systems air compressors and pneumatic controls


    Have an understanding of mechanical conveyor systems, including but not limited to roller, belt conveyor, belt tensioner systems


    Perform inspection, diagnoses and repair of all relevant conveyors


    Develop and implement a quarterly Preventive Maintenance inspection for all conveyor systems throughout the facility


    Maintain a clean work area and common area. Follow safety rules and report any hazards to a Distribution Area Manager.

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
