Coordinates activities of workers for a specific division of the DC with the goal of the greatest productivity at the highest level of efficiency.
Research residual cartons and product for disposition.
Audit cartons from PTL department to ensure accuracy.
Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
Determines work procedures and expedites workflow, taking into consideration all areas of the facility.
Maintain a clean work area and common area. Follow safety rules and report hazards to the PTL/Pick Reserve Manager.
Trained and certified on all equipment in the warehouse, including all power equipment, compactor and baler.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures and reports progress of this work to manager.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures, and informing appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
Directly supervises 5 to 35 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
